My sister was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer a few months ago. Dr. Sadir Alrawi performed the recommended hemithyroidectomy. Not only was the incision very small, there was also no damage to the parathyroids or laryngeal nerve. A few weeks later it was determined that a completion thyroidectomy would be prudent and again Dr. Sadir performed her second surgery. It has been a couple of weeks since then and my sister is recovering very well. We would like to thank Dr. Sadir and his excellent team for their care, compassion and professionalism.

Additionally, a scan had revealed a nodule on my thyroid which needed to be investigated further.

Dr Sadir talked me through my options. As I am alone in Dubai I was hesitant about having the surgery in case something went wrong and I would not have any support base here with me.

A week later I called Dr Sadir’s nurse and told him that I would proceed with the surgery. My decision to go ahead with the surgery was because I believed in his expertise and I liked the fact that he always spoke about ‘his team’ and not just about himself.

I had the surgery on 9 December 2017. From the admissions person to the nurses, anesthetist, assistant doctors and of course Dr Sadir AlRawi, I could not fault my experience. I spent one night in hospital and I feel like a new person. My calcium is now in normal range, my PTH level when I initially saw Dr Sadir was 194 and is now 32.

I would highly recommend Dr Sadir AlRawi and his team. My sincere thanks to you all for giving me my life back.

I am indeed grateful to Dr Sadir Alrawi and his team at AL Zahra Hospital in Dubai, for the parathyroid surgery which he performed for my wife 33 years aged on 26th October 2017 , He did a tremendous job. My wife was suffered from primary hyperparathyroidism with h/o renal stones, osteopenia, raised PTH and calcium level. SestaMIBI scan, CAT scan and Ultrasound scan of parathyroid didn’t reveal any adenoma. We were worried that tumor was not localized, so we searched abroad and everywhere in the region, but couldn’t find any experienced neck surgeon finally we reached to Dr Sadir Alrawi at AL Zahra Hospital in Dubai. In first visit with Dr Sadir we were impressed with his helpful attitude, full confidence and high experience in neck exploration and parathyroid surgeries. Finally he did the procedure, localized the tumor at the time of surgery which was in the right inferior and removed. Now my wife is 100% cured. Her PTH is dropped down from 145 to 31 and the calcium level is in the normal range. Thanks GOD We didn’t do the surgery abroad or in any other place and We choose the right and best surgeon who was fully-experienced, and confident in his work .
