Dr. Ibrahim Husni Abu-Gheida is an Attending Radiation Oncology Physician at Burjeel Medical City, Abu-Dhabi. Dr. Abu-Gheida trained at world-leading academic cancer institutions including the American University of Beirut Medical Centre, Cleveland Clinic/Ohio, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; which is ranked as the number-one cancer center in the United-States.
Dr. Abu-Gheida is licensed to treat all sites that require radiation therapy for malignant, benign, or functional diseases. He is mainly interested in providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based, and individualized care to patients. Dr. Abu-Gheida’s philosophy remains to evaluate and treat each patient as his own family member, therefore providing every patient with the best quality of care they deserve. Dr. Abu-Gheida has a special interest in treating breast, gastrointestinal, Genito-urinary, thoracic, and Central-nervous-system diseases, as well as benign and functional diseases amenable to radiotherapy.
Providing efficient and cost-effective therapy for patients that maintain the best outcome and quality of life for the patient is a special area of interest for Dr. Abu-Gheida. Dr. Abu-Gheida currently serves as a member of Burjeel hospital Institutional Review Board (IRB) that monitors and governs research in the institution.
