Dr. Hiran Kattilaparambil Ravindran

Language Spoken: English, Hindi, Malayalam, TamilDr. Hiran received his MD from a prestigious institute and he started his career in one of the premier institutes in India as an assistant professor and then as an associate professor. In spite of heavy slide sign-outs in histopathology, he was actively involved with academics including teaching MBBS, BDS, MD, and DIPNB students. Dr. Hiran co-authored 12 publications in Indian and international journals and had delivered lectures in various national and international forums. He has currently joined Burjeel medical city as a Specialist in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Awarded with an honorary diploma for extraordinary contribution to the effective formation and development of the interdisciplinary specialty of pathology, radiology, oncology, and surgery of Head and neck by Eurasian Society of Head and Neck Oncology – July 2019.
Received European skull base society world fellowship award 2012 for presenting a paper at 6th international congress of the world federation of the skull base societies and 10th European skull base congress in Brighton, UK.
Received Indo-US Science Technology Forum travel fellowship – DNA Microarray in breast cancer – New York University School of Medicine (NYUSOM) November – December 2008.
He won first prize in quiz competition at CME – “update on Pulmonary Pathology”, Medical College Kottayam, Kerala, India – 2003.
