Her areas of expertise are the management of infections in immuno-compromised populations particularly in solid and stem cell transplant recipients, patients with hematologic malignancies, and patients with left ventricular assisted devices (LVAD) infections.Dr. Dima has been involved in medical research activities and published (6+) articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at local and international conferences. She was also actively involved in teaching activities, infection control practices, and the development of prophylaxis protocols at AUBMC and DUMC.
