Before joining Burjeel Medical City, Dr. Abu Baker Ahmed worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Abu Dhabi, and as a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist in various Universities and Teaching hospitals in UK, including Blackpool Teaching Hospital, and Royal Victoria Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
Dr. Abu Baker had structured specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology for 4 years at various Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospitals, UK. Following structured medical training and Research posts in the UK, Dr. Abu Baker Ahmed worked as a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at different teaching and university hospitals in the UK and at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Abu Dhabi.
